Being a college student, I think the utmost important thing is to acquire knowledge from school. But as a proverb goes, "There are always two sides of the same coin". To have a part-time job may help students to realize (that) “No success comes from nothing”. The main reasons can be stated as follows:
Vocabulary:
1. utmost = greatest
Phrase:
1. as a proverb goes 俗語說
2. No success comes from nothing
成功並非憑空而來的

With the economic development of a country, more and more college students are sparing more time in their part-time jobs. As a matter of fact, working part-time has some advantages. First, a part-time job brings students more money and helps them to reduce their parents’ economic burden. Second, it enables them to be more independent and also builds up their self-confidence. Finally, it may help them to develop their social ability, which is of great help to their future careers.
Vocabulary:
1. with + n 隨著
2. spare (v)
騰出(時間)
3. burden (n)
負擔
4. enable (v)
賦予
5. build up one's Self-confidence
建立自信心
6. develop (v)
培養
7. Social ability (n)
社交能力
Phrase:
1. as a matter of fact 事實上

Even so, there are some disadvantages which cannot be ignored. First, too many part-time jobs may take up students’ much time (which are) needed for sleep, rest, study and recreation. If they spend too much time on their part-time jobs, their grades may go down. Not only may they be unable to continue with their study, but also they may even fail /not do well in their part-time jobs. In addition, students are too young to judge if their friends influence them in the right way. Furthermore, more money may bring bad effects on some of the students spending more on the consumption than on studying.
Vocabulary:
1.ignore (v)忽視
2.comsumption (n)
消費

Phrase:
1. even so 即便如此
2. take up= occupy
佔據

In my opinion, students should keep a balance between study and the job; I think the main task for average student is to study rather than to work. For the reason, they should get the best out of their college by doing activities like attending the college clubs; and lay a good foundation of knowledge for their future work.
Vocabulary:
1. attend (v)參加
2. Lay (v)
舖設
3. Foundation (n)
基礎

Phrase:
1. rather than 而非
2.for the reason
因此
